Michael Elias Managing Director, London
Michael has been at the forefront of the development of European technology private equity as it grew from a fledgling niche into the multi-billion dollar market it is today. He has been a member of the Executive Committee of the European Venture Capital Association (EVCA) and chaired its Venture Capital Committee from 2002 to 2006.
Michael founded Kennet in 1997. Earlier, he was responsible for establishing the international operations of Thompson Clive & Partners in California and Paris.
Michael holds a B.A. with highest honours from Harvard University, and received an M.Sc. from Cambridge University where he was a Marshall Scholar.
Mark Bradley Investor
Mark Bradley was part of the founding team at NexTag, a high growth Silicon Valley start-up known for its popular consumer website providing price comparison shopping information. NexTag grew rapidly to over 350 employees operating in 9 countries. Providence Equity invested in the company in 2007, resulting in one of the highest valued buyouts in media. Though the company was venture capital funded when it was created in 1999, the team restarted the company in late 2000 with only $1.6 million of capital and the business was cash flow positive thereafter. The core business was built around the most advanced SEM and Display retargeting platforms on the market today.
As a result,Mark developed a strong technological, analytical and entrepreneurial focus on capital efficiency. Mark played several key roles in the company’s development including President, SVP of Global Product Shopping, SVP of International, and SVP of Operations and led several acquisitions. Prior to co-founding NexTag, Mark worked within the Technology sector for over 10 years, where he held several executive positions at public companies in Marketing, Product Management and Business Development.
Mark graduated from Southern Methodist University with an undergraduate Business Degree in Finance. Mark has served on several company boards and is currently on the boards of AcademixDirect and Next Performance, both Kennet III portfolio companies.
Hillel Zidel Director, London
Hillel joined Kennet as a Director from ETV Capital, where he undertook numerous transactions providing hybrid debt and equity-based capital to technology companies across Europe & the US. Prior to this Hillel worked as a Management Consultant at KPMG, advising clients on strategic, performance management and regulatory issues. Earlier, Hillel worked in Corporate Development at two internet businesses in South Africa.
Hillel is a CFA Charterholder. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Law from the University of South Africa, an Honours Degree in Economics and a Masters Degree in Economics (cum laude) from the University of Johannesburg.

Vincent Karachira, Chief Executive Officer
An entrepreneur and specialist in software and B2B services, Vincent notably worked as Sales VP on the international development of the first B2B marketplace, Hubwoo.com (Nyse Euronext), before co-founding and managing ClearValue, a company specialising in CRM, which he sold off in 2007 to the SQLI group (Nyse Euronext).
Bjorn Kvarby, Chief Operations Officer
Bjorn is in charge of the strategy and global deployment of Next Performance, Europe’s fastest growing (re)targeting company.
Prior to joining Next Performance Bjorn was the Managing Director of Shopping.com Europe and Australia (part of eBay) where he oversaw strategy and all business operations including Merchant Services, Display Advertising, Internet Marketing and Distributed Commerce Publisher Network. Bjorn was also part of the Shopping.com Executive Team and the eBay Europe Leadership Team.
Edouard Lauwick, VP France & South Europe
Edouard started into eFront, an ASP applications society. In 2001, he joined CibleClick, the French leading affiliation platform, during 7 years Edouard carried its development working for few departments and responsibilities.
Since 2009, Edouard is VP Partnership Marketplace developing the business everywhere across the international markets
Markus Rottmaier, VP Sales Central Europe
As a sales and business development specialist in the online marketing landscape, Markus worked as Sr. Director Global Sales for the leading performance advertising network, zanox (Axel Springer & PubliGroupe). Before joining zanox, Markus successfully deployed the business of Europe's largest comparison shopping engine Ciao (Microsoft) in the US market.
Russell Carroll, VP United Kingdom
Before joining Next Performance Russ worked for eBay/Shopping.com, where he was UK Country Manager.
He spent 6 years with comparison shopping site PriceGrabber/Experian, where he contributed to launch their UK office and grow their UK team and business.
Frederic Mas, IT Director
Frederic started its career in CARAT France, the global leader in advertising and media communications. He worked as Head of Development and Studies in the first B2B marketplace, Hubwoo.com (Nyse Euronext), before integrating Nexto, Cloud computing expert. Frédéric is an expert in its sector and managed several IT department
Sébastien Bock, R&D Director
Sébastien is a specialist in high level programming, real time and data analysis systems. He worked as project manager for PSA Peugeot Citroën and started as an entrepreneur by creating a social marketplace before joining NextPerformance at its creation.
Geoffrey Berthon, Ads Operation Director
After 3 years in the Consulting environment (Accenture), Geoffrey co-founded a trade exchange start up in 2007. One year later, he joined Nextperformance at its creation as a Business Developer.
Henning Scheel, Regional Sales Director DACH
Henning was an early bird in the price comparison space. He started at Bertelsmann in 1998 and after 3 years he joined the E-Commerce Division at Lycos Europe. After Lycos acquired Pangora (known today as Become) he took care of the german Key Accounts for Lycos Shopping. After 5 years he joined the price comparison pioneer Shopping.com which is part of eBay Inc. There he headed the German Merchant Sales and Key Account team for 4.5 years and the Business Development and Marketing Team for 1.5 years.
Benjamin Palcy, Sales Director France
Benjamin began its career at MSN. Over the following 4 years, he worked in the Media agencies universe (Isobar, Fullsix) as consultant exploring on-line communication channels (display, search, emailing, affiliation). Benjamin joined AOL in 2007 as sales for one of the first Display retargeting department. Since 2 years he worked for Nextperformance
